Job Roles

  • To give support to deliver world-class design/execution performance by embedding continuous improvement methodology as the way of working
  • To support design, planning, and supervision of Drilling, completion and well intervention operations, with the full integration of the relevant asset teams.
  • Preparation and monitoring of detailed cost and time estimates, tracking of relevant metrics during job execution, after action reviews (AAR) documentation
  • To regulatory ensure all Well Notifications, Combined Operations Notifications, Regulatory Permits, etc are all in place and correct prior to commencement of operations
  • To Support the technical and HSSE management of relevant service provider contracts and support the contracting and procurement strategy. Collaborate with contractors regarding performance, future variances, etc as stipulated
  • To Actively drive the identification, development, and implementation of new technologies and the opportunities to optimize field operations
  • To Check all survey readings for abnormalities and plot same on the wall plot provided at the well site
  • To Provide routine and emergency technical input and support for all well related activities, both in the office and at the work site as stipulated
  • To Ensure all lessons learned are captured and shared from execution of Drilling, Completion & Well Intervention activities, in line with the Global Well Delivery Process

Job requirements/Qualifications

  • A graduate degree in Engineering or Science with a minimum of second-class degree.
  • Minimum 4 - 10 years oil and gas drilling and completion experience in a field or design role.
  • A demonstrable knowledge of Deepwater, Shallow water and Onshore drilling, Completions and Intervention operations
  • Knowledge with use of Wells Design tools such as WELLCAT, WELLPLAN, COMPASS etc.
  • Commercial skills: Understanding of commercial implications of emerging ways of working, techniques and technologies. Able to bench mark on local and global scale.
  • Be responsible for own development and will execute a personal development plan agreed with the Well Operations Team Leader- Skilled in presentation and communications
  • Strong interpersonal skills able to influence and and develop relationships across teams, and to deliver through others.
  • Ability to work and manage in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.
  • Previous field experience on a rig or Well Intervention unit will be an added advantage in addition to flexibility to work in multiple locations.

Process Engineer

  • Initiate, manage and carry out conceptual studies and derive optimum development plans.

  • Carry out conceptual engineering and optimization studies to define engineering projects in terms of technical scope, cost execution strategy and schedule.
  • Provide process engineering expertise in the review and optimization of existing production facilities.
  • Network with Reliability Engineers, Projects & Technology, Discipline Engineers, and industry groups to develop and implement Best Practices.
  • Plan, manage and deliver specialist process and process safety engineering discipline support and advice. This covers process modelling and simulation, HAZOP and design reviews, production system optimization and process engineering support to Bonga operating asset.

Jobe Requirements/Qualifications

Experience Requirements:
  • Significant experience in the E&P industry, preferably with some experience in Root Cause Analysis:
  • Relevant operations experience is an advantage.
Educational Requirements:
  • B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Chemical Engineering or its equivalent.
Competence Requirements:
  • 3 - 7 years post graduate experience in process engineering and skilled in the use of simulation tools e.g., HYSYS/UNISIM, Flarenet, PIPESIM.
  • Experience in Field/facility engineering and technical safety/risk engineering.
  • Good interpersonal and negotiating skills, know-how of planning.

Project Risk Management Engineer

Job Roles

  • To contribute to the delivery and maintenance of standard, consistent and realistic risk management plan, system and register for each project, as well as conducting probabilistic cost and schedule risk analyses.
  • Assist in performing Probabilistic Cost & Schedule Risk Analysis- Build simplified project schedule model, map the Technical, Economic, Commercial, Organisational and Political (TECOP) parameters and Opportunity/Risk Register entries to the model elements, and quantify these impacts into duration/ cost ranges (jncluding the unknown unknowns).  Assess and establish appropriate probability distributions for each element.  Analyse and iterate the model output and develop overview presentation material to explain the results and key schedule risk areas.
  • Develop overview reports of risk/opportunity status for management. implement and manage risk management plans utilizing Company’s risk management standards
  • Maintain and manage risk registers. Present risk management status to Project Leadership Team & generate monthly risk management reports
  • Interface with project team members to discuss and challenge risk status and close out references.
  • Interpret and explain Cost Schedule & Risk Analysis output to Project Leadership and Review teams

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree and/or Certification as a Risk Management Professional or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years industry experience as Risk Management Professional.
  • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience facilitating risk / opportunity brainstorming workshops
  • Fully versed with Project Risk Tools, i.e. EasyRisk (currently Company Standard), Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk and/or Crystal Ball.
  • Ability to actively engage project team members and to promote our services to new customers.
  • Experience in managing small teams of junior personnel.
  • Frequent travel may be required.

Security Intelligence Analyst

  • The Security Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for collecting and collating all available security related information with the objective of identifying trends and threats that may impact SPDC assets and operations in its areas of operations and analyzing same for the provision of timely tactical and strategic intelligence in support of Company Operations.
  • Provide regular threat updates to include general summary, key events, threat trends, change in threat and threat assessment.
  • Draft intelligence reports; prepare graphs, charts, tables and other visualisation vehicles to present data.
  • Conduct background research activities on relevant players as well as the drivers of security-related events. 
  • Provide threat assessment input to security activity plans for projects and production activities.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • 7 to 12 years of relevant work experience preferably from Security Services organizations

  • Experience working in an Oil and Gas Industry is desirable
